We're hiring.
Four by Eight is a small, hands-on studio in Singapore designing clean, timeless homes across HDB, condo and landed. No trend-chasing, and no cost surprises for the people who hire us. We're looking for two people who work the same way.
THE ROLES
Interior Designer
Two to four years in interior design or a related trade. You'll run your own projects end to end — first meeting, design brief, material selection, site coordination, handover — with the studio behind you rather than above you.
Small growing studio, real say. You won't be handed someone else's drawings to colour in, and when you think a detail should change, there's no committee to get past.
Junior Interior Designer
Fresh graduates welcome. An internship or relevant coursework helps, but it isn't required — what matters is that you want to learn this properly.
Career switchers, too. If you've been through your own renovation and know first-hand what clients worry about, that's worth more than we can teach. The technical skills we can train.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Skills
Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Illustrator or similar. For the junior role, a working knowledge is enough — we'd rather see how you think than how fast you model.

Qualities
A sharp eye for detail. Genuine care for the client's experience, not just the finished photo. And the discipline to keep design honest — telling someone what something really costs, and why a choice works for how they live.
